PLAYBOY ENTERS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH GLOBAL SUPERSTAR PITBULL
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – March 24, 2014 — Playboy Enterprises, Inc. announced today that the company has entered into a strategic partnership with global music superstar Pitbull. The relationship, designed as a creative cross-pollination between the worlds of Pitbull and Playboy, will feature a variety of content, experience, and product-related initiatives. The first example is the upcoming video supporting the performer’s new hit single “Wild Wild Love,” featuring G.R.L., which was shot at the legendary Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, California earlier this month.

recent Magazine article looked at one of the most important cardboard
boxes ever made - the Brownie camera. Created by Kodak, it turned
ordinary people into photographers for the first time - the snapshot was
born. Readers sent us some of their own photos taken with Brownies, new
and old.
In the article Stephen Dowling reported
how the original model of 1900 was followed by dozens more over the
next 80 or so years. Judging from your photos it seems plenty of people
are still using Brownies of various vintages today - there's even a

Facebook complies with Turkey page block order
Turkey had threatened to block access to Facebook if the page was not removed
The
BBC has learned that Facebook has complied with a Turkish court order
demanding the blocking of a page it said offended the Prophet Muhammad.
If the social media platform had refused, the court had threatened to block access to the entire site.The site is believed to have around 40 million members in Turkey.
Facebook declined to comment but it does have a policy of blocking access to content within a country if it breaks local law.

The Pirate Bay Updated With Phoenix Image and Set to return on 1 February
The Pirate Bay — an infamous Torrent website predominantly used to share copyrighted material free of charge — could be relaunched on 1st February, the date the website has long been expected to return.
The website went dark from the Internet following a raid in Sweden last month. After a complaint was filed by a group called the Rights Alliance, Swedish Police officers raided The Pirate Bay's server room in Stockholm and seized several servers and other equipment.
Twitter can help to predict heart disease

As well as helping you keep up with the news of the day and giving you a place to vent your opinions on just about anything you like, Twitter can also indicate the likelihood of heart disease, according to a new study. Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania, Northwestern University and the University of Melbourne measured the negative emotions in tweets to build up a very accurate picture of heart disease risks in particular areas of the U.S.
